1. Acceptance of Terms

By purchasing a ticket to, accessing, or attending the Whistler Village Beer Festival (the “Event”), you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms & Conditions established by Gibbons Festivals & Events and Gibbons Whistler.

2. Admission & Age Requirements

  • This is a strictly 19+ event.
  • All guests must present two (2) valid pieces of government-issued identification upon entry.
  • No minors are permitted, including infants and toddlers.
  • Gibbons Festivals & Events reserves the right to refuse admission to any guest unable to provide valid identification.

3. Entry Policies

  • Gates open at 12:00 PM.
  • Last entry is at 4:00 PM.
  • No re-entry is permitted once a guest exits the event grounds.
  • Tickets are non-refundable.
  • Tickets may be transferred to another guest in accordance with applicable ticketing policies.

4. Prohibited Items & Conduct

The following are prohibited onsite:

  • Outside alcohol
  • Illegal drugs
  • Cannabis products
  • Vapes, cigarettes, or smoking products
  • Weapons of any kind
  • Outside food or drinks
  • Glass containers
  • Coolers
  • Large bags or oversized backpacks
  • Drones
  • Pets, except registered service animals
  • Any item deemed unsafe by event security

A cannabis entry and usage policy is in effect for this Event and must be followed at all times in accordance with applicable laws and venue regulations.

Guests are expected to behave responsibly and respectfully. Gibbons Festivals & Events reserves the right to deny entry to or remove any intoxicated, disorderly, unsafe, or non-compliant patron from the Event without refund.

Please drink responsibly.

5. Communications Consent

By purchasing a ticket, you consent to receive promotional and event-related communications from Gibbons Festivals & Events, Gibbons Whistler, and affiliated partners via email and SMS regarding this and future events. You may unsubscribe from marketing communications at any time.

6. Photo & Video Release

When you enter a Gibbons Whistler event or program, you enter an area where photography, audio recording, and video recording may occur.

By entering the Event premises, you consent to interviews, photography, audio recording, and video recording, and to the release, publication, exhibition, or reproduction of such media for use in news, webcasts, promotional materials, telecasts, advertising, websites, social media, and other marketing purposes by Gibbons Whistler and its affiliates, partners, and representatives.

Images, photos, and videos captured at the Event may be used to promote future Gibbons Whistler events, highlight event experiences, and showcase the capabilities of Gibbons Whistler.

By attending the Event, you release Gibbons Whistler, its officers, employees, contractors, representatives, and affiliated entities from any liability associated with the taking, recording, digitizing, publication, or use of photographs, videos, audio recordings, or interviews.

You waive any rights to compensation, royalties, inspection, or approval related to the use, broadcasting, streaming, publication, or reproduction of such materials, regardless of the purpose or whether admission fees or sponsorship revenue are involved.

By entering the Event, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to this consent, waiver of liability, and release.

7. Payments, Refunds & Ticketing

Payment terms, fees, and ticket policies are displayed at the time of purchase.

All ticket sales are final unless otherwise stated. Refunds, if applicable, will be processed according to the ticketing policy associated with the specific event or ticket type.

8. Limitation of Liability

Gibbons Whistler and Gibbons Festivals & Events are not liable for:

  • Any loss, theft, or damage to personal property
  • Injuries or damages sustained while attending the Event, except where caused by gross negligence
  • Event delays, interruptions, or cancellations due to weather, force majeure, government restrictions, or circumstances beyond reasonable control
  • Issues caused by third-party ticketing, payment, or service providers

Attendance at the Event is at the attendee’s own risk.

9. Third-Party Services

The Event may utilize third-party ticketing, payment processing, marketing, and reservation platforms. Use of these services may also be governed by their respective terms and privacy policies.

10. Changes to Terms

Gibbons Festivals & Events reserves the right to modify these Terms & Conditions at any time without prior notice. Updated versions will be posted on the applicable event website.

11. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of the Province of British Columbia and the applicable laws of Canada.
